in media platforms such as gaming games such as the "fallout" series and "metro 2033" these games explore the idea that war has destroyed the world that we know and we follow the story of how people come to survive in these environments

a current fear is the upcoming and some what apparently inevitable zombie apocalypses and or the some form of other or unknown will invade and change our way of life and this is could be some form of virus or parasite a that we as a species have unwittingly unleashed or created by trying to play god that will show us just how mortal we are. Just like in Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein", Frankenstein trys to play god and in doing so creates a monster that hauts and leads him to his death, the story its shelf identify the fear of science at the time, however to this day we still worry about if science has come to far.

in the news and scientific journals have appeard about global warming and how human interaction has actually been destroying the earth and the damage that can be caused by our negligence in finding better fuels and ways to cut down on waste material and materials that are not biodegradable.
• The Arctic is feeling the effects the most. Average temperatures in Alaska, western Canada, and eastern Russia have risen at twice the global average, according to the multinational Arctic Climate Impact Assessment report compiled between 2000 and 2004.
• Arctic ice is rapidly disappearing, and the region may have its first completelyice-free summer by 2040 or earlier. Polar bears and indigenous cultures are already suffering from the sea-ice loss.
• Glaciers and mountain snows are rapidly melting—for example, Montana's Glacier National Park now has only 27 glaciers, versus 150 in 1910. In the Northern Hemisphere, thaws also come a week earlier in spring and freezes begin a week later.
• Coral reefs, which are highly sensitive to small changes in water temperature, suffered the worst bleaching—or die-off in response to stress—ever recorded in 1998, with some areas seeing bleach rates of 70 percent. Experts expect these sorts of events to increase in frequency and intensity in the next 50 years as sea temperatures rise.

along with that there has been mounting tension with IS and the war on terror, along with military cuts of our own forces and test flights of Russian planes along the coast of the UK this leads to fears about more combat and/ or wars to come, an ever present threat is the use of nuclear weapons and due to many countries using nuclear technology if ever the such weapons are to be used in a fall scale war the nuclear fallout would be immense.

| follow the leader |
"After three months of work a new version of my installation Follow the leaders has been filed Place du Bouffay in Nantes, produced by Levoayageanantes. This time the result is a massive installation consists of 2000 pieces and several concrete buildings which represent a kind of city in ruins: a metaphor for the collapse of capitalism and the side effects of progress. The installation occupied 20 m x 18 m. At night it lights up like a sort of ghost town.
Follow the leaders is an installation in process whose sculptures number varies according to circumstances: the population could be from two thousand to five members and it can be presented both outside and inside.
Follow the leaders is a critical reflection on our inertia as a social mass. Representing a social stereotype associated with power compound businessmen who run the global social spectrum. I worked with a great team of people that have helped me to realize this project."
looking at other artisit work that had such a dystopia feel helped me focus on what kind of future people thought there could be and ideas on how it would look like although id like to think that my own images have more of a hopeful attitude with the idea of perhaps rebirth in one sense or another.
