for my own project it was filmed all on super 8 with small bits and found footage taken on my lumix,
however when i went to get it developed i was told by the person on the desk "yeah we do that, its all good" wheen it was sent back i turned out that the didn't do that so i was a Little bit up the duff so i had lost all my footage so in the last 4 days i had to re shoot next to everything.
with it was the first time i wrote a proper script as well this was something completely new to me, the whole method and the how but thankfully with my adobe description i have access to adobe story so i wrote every thing up on that and taught my sell the correct devices that script writers use to write one up.
i had asked the brother in law who is basically the johnny Depp to me being Tim Burton ... basically he is my go to actor he is just lovely also him working in the pub gave me a location that meant we could film at the best times to not bother the patrons at the pub called the Cambridge hotel in Camberley. so i asked him if he wanted in way in advance and he said sure, he was even great to re shoot a lot of stuff that was lost and kept telling me, he was fine for the re shoot. i made it up to him with money.
the super 8 effect was from film riot as i had no idea what to do as i had no time to send away any more film but they had an effective overlay for use with any film to make it look with a total on how to use it in the video.
i think in reflection of both these projects i have came out with two things i should plan for next time
1- always have a back up plan and make sure you have time to implement the back up plan if everything fails
2 - get some sleep
